The CDU1 Starter Kit is a complete multi-battery charging solution for workshops when paired with a compatible Traction charger (MPL50 or MPL50-Li). It enables you to manage the charging of up to five batteries simultaneously from one unit, with safe automatic power cut-off on disconnected channels and LED status indicators for each output. The kit includes a CDU1 Bank Adaptor, charger, output leads and link adaptor, making it ideal for fast, efficient battery management in busy environments.

The CDU1 Starter Kit is a complete multi-battery charging solution for workshops when paired with a compatible Traction charger (MPL50 or MPL50-Li). It enables you to manage the charging of up to five batteries simultaneously from one unit, with safe automatic power cut-off on disconnected channels and LED status indicators for each output. The kit includes a CDU1 Bank Adaptor, charger, output leads and link adaptor, making it ideal for fast, efficient battery management in busy environments.

  • The CDU1 Starter Kit is compatible with Traction’s MPL50 and MPL50-Li battery chargers.

  • The CDU1 Starter Kit connects MPL50 or MPL50-Li chargers to a bank of up to five batteries, sequencing the charge automatically from one battery to the next.

    Each battery receives a bulk charge first, and once all batteries have reached this stage, the adaptor returns to perform a top-off charge before moving into maintenance mode.

    If a battery is disconnected, that channel safely shuts off to prevent short circuits, while LED indicators show the charging status of each output.

    The system can also be expanded by linking additional CDU1 units for larger battery banks.
