The CDU1 Battery Bank Adaptor is a bank charging solution that works with Traction’s MPL50 or MPL50-Li chargers to manage and sequence the charging of up to five batteries at once. It provides safe, organised charging for multiple battery units, automatically disabling power to any disconnected battery to prevent accidental shorts, and includes LED status indicators for each channel. The unit can also be daisy-chained with others to support up to 17 batteries simultaneously, making it ideal for busy workshops handling large batches of batteries.

The CDU1 Battery Bank Adaptor is a bank charging solution that works with Traction’s MPL50 or MPL50-Li chargers to manage and sequence the charging of up to five batteries at once. It provides safe, organised charging for multiple battery units, automatically disabling power to any disconnected battery to prevent accidental shorts, and includes LED status indicators for each channel.   • The CDU1 Battery Bank Adaptor is designed to be used with Traction’s MPL50 and MPL50-LI.

  • The CDU1 connects and manages charging across multiple batteries by sequencing through each connected unit. It first delivers the bulk charge to one battery, then automatically moves to the next, adding new batteries into the sequence as they’re connected.

    Once all batteries have reached the bulk stage, the CDU1 completes a top-off charge on each battery and then enters maintenance mode to keep them topped up without overcharging.

    Batteries can be removed after the bulk stage (typically around 70 % capacity) for faster turnaround, or left on the system to achieve a full charge.
