The BSU2-50C Battery Support Unit is a professional workshop support unit that delivers up to 50A of fully regulated power and constant 13.4V output to maintain stable voltage during diagnostics, software updates and reprogramming when the vehicle is in a Key On, Engine Off state.

Unlike standard support units, it can close the contactors on lithium batteries, making it ideal for vehicles with modern lithium 12V systems as well as AGM and GEL batteries, helping to prevent data loss or control unit shutdowns while you work.

When connected to a lithium battery, it can also close the battery’s internal contactors, allowing the system to wake up and accept support power. This ensures the vehicle’s electronics remain stable and operational throughout workshop procedures.
